According to Yamaha’s numbering system, this specific guitar was crafted on January 14, 1999 (the very first year the DW series was introduced) and is recorded as the 6th one made that day.
Yamaha’s DW Series was designed to offer players a premium, all-dreadnought line that outperformed their standard FG series, yielding a richer, more powerful voice.
