Tom’s passion for music spans 40+ years. His first paid gig as part of a band was at age 13, and has been making people dance ever since. From ‘92-'97 he was a member of Portland’s own boundary pushing metal band Daddy Black Boots. He currently contributes to the unique electric/ acoustic JLD Project.
In 2006 he opened his own music store music store to provide music lessons (as well as to /sell/repair musical instruments) and has brought smiles to his students ever since. Whether it’s a one on one lesson, an adult education guitar class or a student ensemble, Tom’s natural, fun approach to teaching makes students of all ages feel right at home. Learn More...
